Privacy Policy
This policy applies to Rollout Control, a Zendesk app developed by ASA Labs and available on the Zendesk Marketplace.
What Rollout Control does
Rollout Control helps Zendesk admins manage controlled workflow rollouts. Admins can define which tickets are eligible for a rollout, assign eligible tickets to the current workflow or a new workflow, and use Zendesk fields and tags to review those tickets later.
Data access
The app may access Zendesk ticket data needed to decide whether a ticket is eligible for a rollout. This may include ticket ID, ticket tags, ticket fields, brand, group, form, channel, status, and related ticket metadata.
Rollout Control does not need access to ticket data for advertising, profiling, or resale.
Data written to Zendesk
When a ticket enters a rollout, the app may write rollout fields and tags back to the ticket. These values are used to show whether the ticket was included in a rollout and which workflow it received.
These fields and tags remain inside your Zendesk account and can be used in Zendesk views, searches, triggers, automations, or Explore reporting.
Data ownership & storage
Customer and ticket data remain within your Zendesk instance. ASA Labs does not store customer ticket data outside of Zendesk for Rollout Control.
Rollout configuration is stored in Zendesk so the app can manage draft, active, paused, and completed rollouts.
API token use
Rollout Control may ask an admin to provide a Zendesk admin email and API token when an action needs to create, update, or repair rollout setup inside the same Zendesk account.
If provided, the token is used only for Zendesk actions needed by the app. It is not used to send customer data to ASA Labs or to third-party systems.
Data sharing
Rollout Control does not sell customer data, use customer data for advertising, or share customer data with unauthorized third parties.
Security
Rollout Control runs within Zendesk's app framework and is designed to keep rollout activity inside your Zendesk account. Admins should manage app access, API tokens, and Zendesk permissions according to their own internal security policies.
Website analytics
ASA Labs may use basic website analytics on public ASA Labs pages to understand page traffic and improve the site. This is separate from Rollout Control’s operation inside Zendesk.
